Kanana Fou Elementary
"Nurturing Faith, Character, and Learning for the Next Generation"
Kanana Fou Elementary School is a vital part of the educational ministry of the Congregational Christian Church of American Samoa (CCCAS), providing a nurturing, Christ‑centered learning environment for the children of American Samoa beginning from level K-5 to Level 8. Rooted in the vision of the Kanana Fou Educational System, the school is dedicated to forming young learners in faith, knowledge, character, and Samoan Christian identity.
Established to support the Church’s mission of holistic Christian education, Kanana Fou Elementary offers a safe, caring, and academically engaging environment where children are encouraged to grow spiritually, intellectually, socially, and culturally. The school integrates biblical values, Samoan cultural heritage, and strong academic foundations, ensuring that students are well‑prepared for future learning and for faithful service to their families, communities, and church.
Kanana Fou Elementary is guided by the CCCAS commitment to educational excellence and operates under the leadership of the Women’s General Fellowship(Mafutaga Aoao a Tina), whose longstanding dedication to Christian education has shaped the school’s identity and daily life. Through their stewardship, the school continues to embody the values of alofa(love), tautua(service), fa‘aaloalo(respect), and fa‘atuatua(faith).
Since its establishment in 1998, Kanana Fou Elementary has played a formative role in the lives of CCCAS children—cultivating curiosity, strengthening character, and grounding students in the Christian faith. As part of the broader Kanana Fou Educational System, the school remains steadfast in its mission: to raise children who are rooted in Christ, confident in their identity, and prepared to lead with wisdom and compassion.
