“Building Bridges of Fellowship Across the Body of Christ”

The World’s Christian Endeavor Union is the world’s first interdenominational youth ministry movement. The CCCAS Christian Endeavor Fellowship (Mafutaga ‘Au Taumafai) is one of 30 independent Christian Endeavor fellowships located across 29 countries. Through this global network, CCCAS youth participate in leadership development, discipleship formation, and international Christian fellowship rooted in service and devotion to Christ.

Through the National Conference for Ministry to the Armed Forces (NCMAF), the CCCAS maintains an official connection with U.S. military and Veterans Affairs chaplaincies. The Endorsers Conference for Veterans Affairs Chaplaincy (ECVAC)—a standing committee of NCMAF—provides the pathway for qualified CCCAS members, including graduates of Kanana Fou Theological Seminary, to pursue chaplaincy careers in the U.S. Armed Forces and VA hospitals. This partnership expands vocational opportunities for CCCAS clergy and supports ministry to service members and veterans.

The International Bible Reading Association (IBRA) is a global fellowship of Christians committed to daily Scripture reading. For 135 years, IBRA has encouraged believers around the world to engage with the Bible each day. Its publication, Fresh from the Word, provides daily reflections written by theologians and biblical scholars from many traditions. The CCCAS uses this resource as the foundation for its Tusi Faitau Aso EFKAS, integrating IBRA’s global scholarship into the daily devotional life of Samoan congregations.

The Pacific Communities University (PCU) in Suva, Fiji—formerly the Pacific Theological College (PTC)—is an ecumenical theological institution serving churches throughout the Pacific. Offering a full range of academic programs, PCU equips future church leaders with theological, pastoral, and contextual training. The CCCAS is one of 20 founding member churches of PCU and continues to be represented on its Executive Council, contributing to the governance and mission of this vital Pacific institution.

The National Council of Churches in American Samoa (NCCAS) is the local ecumenical body affiliated with the World Council of Churches. Founded in 1985, the NCCAS brings together several major Christian traditions in American Samoa, including the CCCAS, the Roman Catholic Diocese of Samoa–Pago Pago, the Church of the Nazarene, the Congregational Christian Church in Jesus Samoa (CCJS), and the Methodist Church. As a founding member, the CCCAS participates in shared worship, advocacy, and community service initiatives that strengthen Christian unity within American Samoa.
