Our Member Churches

“Strengthening Faith, Family, and Fellowship in Every Village and Community”

The Congregational Christian Church of American Samoa (CCCAS) is a covenant community made up of congregations united in faith, worship, and mission. Spread across villages, districts, and diaspora communities, our member churches form the heart of the CCCAS—where the Gospel is proclaimed, the sacraments are celebrated, and families are nurtured in the life of Christ.

Each congregation is rooted in Samoan Christian tradition while participating fully in the shared mission of the wider Church. Together, our member churches uphold the values of faith, service, fellowship, and stewardship, strengthening the spiritual life of our Samoan Christian communities and carrying forward the legacy entrusted to us by our forebearers.

As one body with many members, the CCCAS embraces the diversity of its congregations while remaining united in purpose: to glorify God, proclaim the Good News, and serve God’s people with humility and love. Through worship, education, outreach, and Samoan community life, our congregations continue to embody the mission of the CCCAS in every village, island, and region where our people gather—locally and abroad.

As of 2026, the CCCAS consists of 113 member churches and 8 mission churches, for a total of 121 congregations worldwide.  Our mission churches are supervised by the Missions Committee (Komiti Faamisionare).  Our member churches, for the purpose of governance and fellowship, are organized into 29 Districts (Pulega), each consisting of no fewer than two congregations.  These 29 Districts are further grouped into 12 Regions (Matagaluega), each comprising no fewer than two Districts.  This structure supports both local autonomy and shared accountability, ensuring that congregations remain connected in ministry, mission, and service.
