World Communion of Reformed Churches
"Called to Communion, Committed to Justice"
The World Communion of Reformed Churches (WCRC) is a global fellowship of more than 100 million Christians in Congregational, Presbyterian, Reformed, United, Uniting, and Waldensian traditions. Working with its more than 230 member churches—including the CCCAS—the WCRC supports theological reflection, justice advocacy, church unity, and mission initiatives in more than 105 countries world-wide.
United in Christ and rooted in the historic Reformed tradition, the WCRC and its member churches affirm that Christian faith is a response to God’s call to meet spiritual needs, pursue justice, and participate in God’s transforming work in the world. As a communion, the WCRC seeks to renew and unite the Church while engaging in God’s mission of healing and reconciliation.
The WCRC coordinates joint initiatives in several key areas: Communion & Church Unity; Justice—economic, environmental, and social; Leadership Development; Mission & Global Witness; and Theology & Reformed Identity. The Communion also collaborates with other global church movements on shared concerns such as climate change, gender justice, and theological dialogue, strengthening the collective witness of the worldwide Reformed family.
Through its membership in the WCRC, the CCCAS benefits from a rich network of theological, educational, and mission‑focused resources. The WCRC offers an extensive body of written scholarship, as well as a Global Digital Library, supporting study and reflection on Reformed theology, mission, justice, and peace.
The WCRC also provides support to member churches through its Partnership Fund, which offers small grants for mission‑related projects—especially in the Global South; Scholarships for women pursuing theological degrees, expanding leadership opportunities within the Church; and awards for theological students, encouraging academic excellence and ministerial formation
Through this partnership, the CCCAS participates in a global communion committed to unity, justice, and the ongoing renewal of the Church in the spirit of Jesus Christ.
